On the basis of the tax declaration, the state automatically grants an insurance subsidy to eligible persons. The subsidy is paid directly to the insurance company, which deducts it from the insurance premium. 

People who have recently arrived in Geneva must submit an application : New arrivals in Geneva in 2024 or 2025

People taxed at source must also apply each year : New arrivals in Geneva in 2024 or 2025
