Shops are generally open from 8am-9am to 7pm (6pm on Saturdays), closed on Sundays and public holidays. 

On Thursday evenings, some shops are open until 9pm.

Opening hours are governed by the law on shop opening hours (LHOM), which allows for longer opening hours at airports, railway stations and petrol stations.
